hi can anyone tell me what the threaded lug on the frame above the uppermost bolt hole on the left hand rearset is for ????????? it is puzzling me

it's for nothing ,just for show ...

im sure it was originally planned for something that did not materialize.....or so i heard.

something that the rc30 or rc45 had.......im sure it was the rc30 that has the same hole in the frame above the rear set that is used for something.

surely it must have a purpose

its for a torque arm that was on the rc30 i think, never bothered to put it on the lil nc

if you look at a picture of a rc30 from the left you notice the torque arm heading towards the frame

nope bought bike off e bay for my gf and since she has owned it it has been a ongoing project so far it has had four plugs, a lower radiator ouch by the fucking way one hunred quid for second hand they must be made from platinum, air filter, oil, fairing repair, cleaning up the living room after working on said bike,she loves it though and so do so i. after buying a tatty one and in the process of doing it up i would advise anyone to look for a tidy well looked after machine
