I,ve just bought a 600 4jh engine on ebay with some other stuff but found out last night that it's no good (thanks Dezzer in reading not).
The crankcase is cracked by the rotor cover, I didn't see it untill I took the cover off! Also it looks like the head gasket has gone or a least the water pump seals. Anyway I have some bits for sale, it looks like the engine has done little miles as I can still see hone marks on the bores. The cams, pistons etc look good too.
Complete clutch with no notches on the basket, I haven't got the crank out yet but it feels ok to me.
Who knows what bits fit a 3TJ engine as lots of it are marked 3TJ? Clutch cams gearbox???
Anyway it's all there except the cases.
OR.... has anyone got an engine they want to sell with good cases that I could rebuild?

I just noticed that the carbs the same bloke was selling have been relisted. Originally sold to 103keef. Funnily enough, lots of his stuff that sold before was mysteriously bought by 103keef.

If the top end is all ok it might be worth considering getting an older 3he motor. 4jh top end +3he bottom end and crank= 660cc.
Im thinking of doing the same so if you want to sell the top end pm me a price.

He said he had his brother bidding up the other stuff the tosser.
At least I got the calipers & other bits cheap.
