NC30 Wheels getting powdercoated - but which black is black

Looking for some general advice before I rock up at the powdercoaters and look confused.
I'm restoring an NC30 Type 9 (black wheels) and plan to have as much brought back to original spec/colour as possible.
Which "black" are the wheels though..? Gloss (too shiny?), Matt (is this a thing???) or Satin ?
(I've googled/had a look around the site but can't find a definitive answer)

Well they're certainly not matt (yes it is a thing) and I don't think they're satin. Which leaves gloss. Both my NC29 and NC35 have white wheels (not standard for the NC35 of course) which are gloss. I'm pretty sure the black wheels on the NC30 are also gloss, although I'm happy to be corrected. There's a recent series on YouTube, 'Restoration of a ruined legend - Honda VFR400 NC30', which is brilliant and the wheels are powder coated in gloss black. That's what I'd go for.

Thanks / I'll take a look.
I was going to send the wheels for coating at the same time as the forks were out separately for refurb/recoat. I didn't want one gloss, the other satin.
Xmas/New Year/Man Flu put all that on hold so I'll speak to the wheel people before sending off the the forks folk. (and report back)

I think mine are original, and they're gloss black.

Hate to correct you, Foxy but the wheels in the RRC restoration video are white.
You could try here, although i don't see the colour of the wheels explicitly called out.
https://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/Bvfr400r-mi.htm
The black for bodywork code is NH1(k)
So that might be a good bet if you can't find an alternative.

Hey Swingarm, I'm happy to be corrected if I get something wrong! The wheels are white not black, but still gloss. I would imagine gloss wheels are easier to clean and the white wheels on both my 400's need pretty frequent cleaning.
