HI everyone

I thought I would share some nice news that my cbr 400 passed the ULEZ emissions test (12/4/2022) at Riverbank motorcycles in East London.

The Nox my cbr 400 produced was 0.08 and the limit is 0.15 grams/kilometer

I've attached some pics in the links below

Thank you for posting this, just goes to show the ulez is a load of bollocks about getting older vehicles off the streets in London and replacing them with less harmful vehicles is codswallop. Just means those who can afford to, can use whatever vehicle they like and just pay the charge forcing those who are struggling to live to buy another vehicle that is currently ulez exempt (this may change at a later date forcing the family into buying yet another vehicle.) or face losing their job by having to travel via public transport which aren’t always reliable/safe/heading in that particular direction.
Total wankers pissing on those on the breadline again

My kawasaki zxr 400 had passed in December and that got 0.03grams/kilometre. They are just trying to make money really and its not about the environment :x . I heard they are planning to expand it to the M25 as well, thats a problem for me because I have a 2007 diesel civic.

I think if everyone starts switching to electric cars, I bet the price of electricity will go really high. The best thing to do is get a bicycle haha

Best thing to do is claim poverty. They are trying to expand it into other towns/cities. Wonder if they will catch everyone using altered plates as in those changing an o to a c etc etc etc with number plate bolts.

Money grabbing b******s

We all know that bikes (and cars) that are not automatically ULEZ exempt have to be tested to see if they pass the emissions test, which is of course what Bowches has done.
However I seem to remember that once a particular model has been certified as ULEZ exempt then other models of that type are also exempt. In other words our NC29's and ZXR's don't all need to be individually tested. I think I got this from an article in the interesting and informative MAG mag (of which you are all members of course). There must be a process by which you can register your bike now that one has been tested and passed, without paying the test fee.
Of course I may be wrong on this and please correct me if I am. But if I'm correct then Mr Bowches has done us a big favour
