A while back I posted a wanted ad for an NC29 headlight surround in white. No luck there but I've found one. An original NOS part, which at £21 is well below half the price that CMSNL would sell it for, if they were in stock, which they're not. A minor drawback is it's in Greece. They're called MOTOPARTS 2. Anyway I took the plunge and ordered it. Postage is £9.50. No idea what import duty will be. If it goes wrong there's the Paypal guarantee (for what it's worth) plus my credit card backup.
They have other Gull Arm parts, plus NC23 (or was it NC24?) bits. Nothing for the NC35.

For that cost import duty *should* only be the VAT amount, IE; 20%.

That means it should work out cheaper than the mythical one at CMSNL. I've had messages from MOTOPARTS 2 saying the part has been packed, another saying it was at the shipping warehouse and another saying it had been shipped. And another saying the order cannot be located. Hmm, interesting. Maybe I should have opted for the courier instead of Greek post, although at nearly three times the price you can see why I didn't.

Well the headlight surround arrived today. The tracking system was spot on. It's in perfect condition and NOS, exactly as described. Besides the cost of the part and shipping (£21 + £9.50), the only other cost was £1.50. Don't know what that was for but no mention of VAT or import duty. So I'm happy.
