I don't .. really you have to just keep your eye's open and give it time.
There are several types
3TJ02 The import models from Japan in Red / White colours CV carbs
As the above but the official import they have a numberred plaque with them
Later import SP's had Flatside carbs and are in Pink / Blue / White (fruit cocktail) colours or the later Dark Blue / Red / White colours. Some have had the flatsides sold on so check. There were only 500 of each of these later models.

Do you want specifically the SP for the road as it's getting to be a collector'S bike now.
Could you satisfy your riding with an RR and look around for suspension upgrades, which is the main advantage of the SP. The RR is still a very good bike to own and you can go the 600cc route with it without any quams about destroying a rare bike.
Something to think about huh ???

there was another mint one in England, around 1.9k, advertised in classic mag.
They do pop up from time to time, as evil says starting as collectors items, especially if you have a original with all its bit and bobs.
there is one near me stood for two years, needs a complete overhaul,
would stand you £2k by the time the works done. there was another mint one in England, around 1.9k, advertised in classic mag.
was tempted during the summer to buy it, still might give him a shout after Christmas!

If you want a bike to ride and not a collectors' item then you can get a good 3TJ, do the R6 shock mod, stiffen the fork damping and stick a 600 lump in there and still have change from a grand.
