I AM LOOKING FOR A HRC OR EQUIVILANT CDI FOR MY NC29
WHERE CAN I GET ONE?
HOW MUCH ARE THEY?
WHAT ADVANTAGES WILL I GET?
WHAT OTHER CHANGES WILL I NEED TO DO?
THE BIKE IS A RACE BIKE WITH A FULL SYSTEM ,JETKIT, AND A HRC AIRBOX PUTTING OUT AROUND 63 HP

The best (read: cheapest) place to get them is probably yahoo japan. You can get them for AUD$250-300 usually.
Plug and play pretty much, I think you need to change 1 wire location around.
There are 2 models that will work (different codes), 1 is for the cb400 the other nc29, I don't think there's any difference but could be wrong.
p.s. There is no equivalent, have heard a few bad reports about the Chinese ebay copies.

It would go well with a fully preped bike like your one.
The HRC CDI has a different advanced curve and has a higher rev limit.
In theory you need the HRC loom for it to work - or you can move one wire in the CDI plug .
Graeme France sells them.
