I`ve had enquiries from several people for this long-discontinued part - the OEM cable is still unavailable but I have discovered that the equivalent part from a 1993-2002 Kawasaki ZZ-R600 will do the job. It doesn`t have the alloy collar on it to fit the wire clip on the NC frame but the length is about right and the thread on the carb end is correct.

Kawasaki part number is 16021-1160, still available new at about £29 or there are generally a couple of used ones on ebay.
