Does anyone know what colour the fuel cap is supposed to be on a 1989 nc30?

From pics the centre looks brown ish and the ring where the bolts go looks machined??

It's like a brownish bronze colour...I think it maybe the same brownish colour as the engine/cases?

Thats what I thought but the ring arround the edge im sure is different but carnt find any close up pics

If you look at the pictures in the link http://www.vsource.org/VFR-RVF_files/Brochures_NC30.htm the 1989 seed has both parts in brown and the 4th one along in the 1990 part has a brown centre and silver outer ring. You have to zoom in a bit. Hope it helps.
