NC30 Rebirth

Hi,
I have owned my NC30 for around 15 years now. It has travelled around Europe and never skipped a beat! It has 20,000 km on the clock. It has been sleeping for 10 years or so. It had a full service before it was put to bed. We connected it to a battery and it started! Good old Honda!
The carbs have now been ultrasonically cleaned and we are in the process of replacing connecting hoses etc.
When it was started the exhaust was blowing. It appears to be at the bottom under the crank area. The majority of the exhaust appears fine. The clamps in this area have degraded and one has rusted through. Is there a decent fix for this area or do I look for a new exhaust?
I'm reasonably certain this may be a common problem and was wondering if someone could shed som light on this please?
