New to the forum, I’m restoring an nc30 and just wanted to know if anyone knew a good place to get an ignition set from? (ignition barrel, fuel cap, rear lock and keys) are the pattern ones off eBay any good? Thanks in advance

Hi Lewis,
I've used one of these sets on a NC27 and whilst they work, they do have a few issues.
1). The electrical connector for the ignition unit was incorrect but this is easily altered
2). The fuel cap never seems to close properly flush but it does work
3). There were 2 types of seat lock supplied but neither of them were the same as the NC27 one however the NC27 uses a different type of seat lock to the sports bikes so one of them should be ok on the NC30

Cheers mate that helps a lot, don’t think I’ll bother with the complete set then as it’s only my ignition barrel that needs replacing and I don’t want to ruin the rest of it.
