Hi guys, my name is ron and i live in a small town near Utrecht (the netherlands). This saturday together with my cousin we bought 2 cbr400rr nc29 bikes. Both bikes are not in great state though one is better then te other. The plan is that my cousin takes the better one, because he wants to ride as soon as possible(its his first bike). And i have another bike(Harley) so i will take the bike with more work and will restore it with my 16 year old son.
When its done and my son is old enough it will become his.

I am here to learn more about the bike.
Thank all

It seems not so bad afterall.
We have put the bike together this saturday and the fairing is damaged but mostly scratches.
Some small cracks but nothing worth mentioning.
Luckely my cousin is a carpainter, and my brother in law(his father) repairs cars when they a damaged in a crash (dont know how its called in english).
So this will al be proffesionel repaired without any cost.
The previous owner has cut the rear frame where the fairing is mounted but this i can repair at my own work.
The previous owner thought it would be hell to repair this bike. Butt after painting and new decals it will look great.
I can say we are very lucky with the purchase of these 2 bikes.

Next weekend the black one wil have big maintenance and after that the polished and repaired fairing will be mounted and it will be ready to go.

Can I ask if there would be any before and after photos of the work done?
Start a new topic about the build please so it will be easier to find later.
I Look forward to your build.
