CLUTCH PLATES

Post by LKey »

Hi all,
The steel plates of my 2TK clutch are 2mm to 2.05mm thick.
I'm looking for matching steel plates with a thickness of 2.3mm to 2.8mm
Does anyone know a source for thicker plates?
Are there any other models with matching plates?
Cheers

I'll need a bit more clearance when using a slipper clutch

I don't know and source for that … the 600 3he, 4JH foxeye and Thundercat will probably it but I don't know the thickness. Maybe a the 750 or 1000 fzr / thunderace, you might be able to get 1 to see if it fits.

Failing that could you try to get more throw on the slave mechanism

Have you asked the makers of the slipper clutch what they might do, or if yours is from a different bike to the 2tk what the plates are
