I have stumbled over a cheap nc21. Don't know much about that model and haven't had much luck in my search in this forum, so I have to ask.

I know it's older than the nc30 and so on. Searching for parts will probably also be a pain. It has 16" front tyre and 18" back so no bt-090
But how is the handling? Rubbish or ok? (I know a litte about the 400 bikes, got a nc29 for the track)
Was going to use the nc21 for road riding...
What about the seating position, not as sporty?
Hows the reliability of the motor? Is it as good as the nc30?

Hoping some of you fellas knows a litte about the bike that you wuld like to share :) Any info will be appriciated

as long as it is cheap and stays cheap then you cannot go too far wrong I reckon.

if it is a money pit then not too good...

yeah it would probably need a new engine (owner forgot to top up the oil)
Its had recent tyres, sprockets + chain and so on...

Is the engine bullitproof like the nc30?
Just need to know if I can forget about sporty riding if i buy it? As written, I have a nc29 for track and an Aprilia rs125 tuono for the streets (lovely bike by the way)
I like bikes that ask to be punished a little (e.g. my little stroker :D )

love the smell of a freshly ragged out 2 stroke

engines bullet proof, very very similar to the nc30 engine, most of the parts will fit.

NC21 has a hydraulic clutch and drives the speedo off the front wheel, but apart from that a lot of parts are similar.

NC21 like the NC24 has a 180 firing order instead of the 360 of the nc30 so it sounds more like an old 750.

Handling is almost as good as the 30.

The NC30 has better brakes and better suspension.

You can think of it in refinement terms as...

the improvements the NC35 made over the NC30, are what the NC30 improves on compared to the NC21/24.

I know thats oversimplistic but still.

For cheap money it's a great bike... you can fit all of the NC24 parts to one too, including the single sided swiningarm ^_^

Well, have to see how it goes...

Obviously the nc21 doesn't have the looks of the nc30 but if its cheap i could be an ok bike

I have had an nc21 and an nc24 and they are great bikes.There is more room than on the nc30 so they are a little more comfortable

I don't agree with that to be honest mate.

A 35 is a face lifted 30 and pretty much the same animal.

the 21 and 24 are not the same animal and would be, for me, considered sports touring rather thah sports like the 30/35.

You would not really say that the rc24 is to the rc30 in the same way? Different animals for different purposes.

Aside from that - I would not turn down a cheap 21 or 24 - they are good bikes.

If it has a rotten exhaust system then walk away from it - genuine one are impossible to obtain now and nobody make a pattern version...
