Hi guys

My travl Nc29 has developed a Sound i can heat when idling and the clutch is released. When i pull the clutch in the Sound disappears. Difficult to say if the sound changes when revved, as the exhaust gets louder. Could Sound like a bearing noise or something. Or clutch platea chattering?
Engine is stock

Anyone encountered something like that before?

I know the smart thing Would be to tear the engine apart, But the bike pulls as it should and shows No signs of defects other than the sound

Hi Martin. Its more than likely your clutch basket.. mine sometimes rumbles. I pull the lever in it goes. Its normal. I do find a oil change queitens it. Also thinking about it i have not heard it since i changed my clutch plates.

Can’t quite remember when it started. But i changed clutch plates last year and also changed to harder springs. But I’ll start with the Oil change, was due this Winther anyway

Oh and the clutch basket lokked ok to me when I did the new plates
