I have just bought a shed of a nc24 and have now discovered that someone has put a nc21 engine in it does have a spark so need to clean the carbs and put them on and try it , will this engine run ?

This heap of a bike is worth saving , its a nc24 with the correct loom and cdi but with a nc21 engine and it has sparkes at the plugs so I am hoping it will run what do you all recon.

How do you know it's an NC21 engine? Did they tell you?

Usually the NC21 engine isnt a straight swap as the NC21 has a camshaft-position sensor and the neutral switch etc are different connectors..

I suppose you could bodge them to fit and bypass the cam position sensor as the NC24 doesn't use it. If the engine isnt broken i cant see any reason why it wont run if its been installed correctly.
