Got my bike a pressie, but how do I fit it? (Rad overflow)
So I purchased an HRC overflow bottle, cos I'm a tart and really wanted one, but it is just the bottle. I had a look at the HRC pdf that floats around the internet and couldn't work out what to do with it
It's got 2 holes in it, so I suspect I need 2 bits of tube and obviously one must go to the top rad.
That's all I can work out :D

Just 1 hose goes into the centre hole and thats it. I cable-tied mine to the right hand radiator hose that goes from the top rad to the bottom one.

Larger diameter hose goes to the top radiator overflow stub, smaller hose goes to air. Make sure that the hose from the radiator goes nearly to the bottom of the bottle and the other one is positioned a couple of centimeters from the top.

Ok awesome, so I only really need one pipe then. Forgive me for being a tard, but the pipe that is currently coming out the top rad must go somewhere, do I need to do anything about that?

The hose from the top of the rad is what goes into the middle hole of the container.

I fitted mine to the front left side onf the top rad with 3 cable ties, this way you can take the top off and look to check the fluid level without removing any fairings and it fits quite neetle between the v piece and the middle fairing , looks almost like ites ment to be there, but i also like DAC's mounting plate, one either side would look cool (one of coolant and the other for breathers etc)
the tube that comes off were the filler cap is is the one you put into the hrc bottle (in the larger hole) the other is to let air in and out when the bottle empties and fills

I posted a similar question here a few weeks back.
Got a lot of good feedback and a picture sowing how to mount it.
not really IT literate so cant paste the link, but it was posted here around 2 weeks ago, Titled HRC Catch Tank - MOT Legal?
Hope that helps.

Guys that's awesome, and yeah I saw the thread, thank you, Dave posted it above, sorry if you feel like you're repeating yourselves, maybe my last question wasn't clear....On my bike there is already a hose coming from the top rad, I haven't followed it yet but it must be connected to something...do you have to plug what it is connected to at the other end or just take the existing hose off and leave it?

That goes to the standard surge bottle under your seat, you can take it off.
