The indicators on my NC35 flash too rapidly. I'm sure I've read somewhere on here that if the 4 bulbs are not the same wattage then this can happen. Is this the case? Some are 5W but one doesn't have any markings. What wattage should they be (normal bulbs not LED's)? Cheers.

I use 21W works for me.

Just checked this on the Honda EPC - the OE rear indicator bulbs are 12V/15W but the fronts are shown as a double filament 12V 18/5W (i.e. a stop/tail type bulb), presumably using the second filament as a daytime running light...?

My bike is wired with the front indicators permanently on (ie. daytime running lights as Rick says) so I guess I have to go with the 18/5W front and 15W rear. According to Rick's info they clearly don't all need to be the same.
Have either of you guys any idea what would happen if I simply use the same 21W bulbs all round (bearing in mind the daytime running set up)? I don't want to experiment with bulbs I might not need.

Disabling the day time running is trivial - just a matter of unplugging a wire at the connector to the indicator.

You could buy one of those adjustable rate flasher relays of ebay for about 2 quid and just set it at a rate you like. Then it doesn't matter what wattages the bulbs are, you can even mix them.

As far as disabling the day time running is concerned, I've had a look at the wiring on the bike and the wiring diagram in Haynes, and it looks like I simply pull the blue/white wire (R) and orange/white wire (L) and bob's your uncle. That it?

Yup. 5 second job, no need to remove fairing or anything.
