I have recently been looking at callipers that will replace the standard two piston for VFR/RVF 4 piston one's. My question is has someone done the VFR/RVF calliper swap with very little hassle? Or used callipers from a different bike with a good upgrade?
Just a thought on a Sunday evening. Any info would be muchly appreciated

There are no direct replacement calipers that fit the 23/29

Hi,i've raced nc23's and nc29's and if you need more brakes than the standard well set up system ie (race pads/fluid/hoses.slides, pistons clean) then I hope your running at the front of the field and need that last 10th of a second.
just my opinion though.
cheers,steve.

Agree a good serviced pair of standard calipers and M/C decent discs and lines worked equally as well as the 4 pot blade calipers I used.

I'll third that, once you have the calipers properly clean with new seals and grease in the correct places, along with braided lines, decent sintered pads(im on SBS) and discs (im on EBC) they really work well.
If the bike gets left for any amount of decent time the initial power will drop off but always comes back with a refresh
