Morning folks,

I have an NC23 RR-K. I did a bit of reading on deresricting the bike before going to a track day just to allow more top end. I had the blue CDI and so pulled apart the speedo to remove the magnetic ring within it.

Performed this whole process, stuck everything back together etc. etc.

End result is I now don't appear to have a speed limiter, but I also have no speedo reading it still counts the k's on the odo and the trip, but no speedo at all. As best as I can see I have indeed assembled everything correctly and so I can only assume I've done something wrong.

Any thoughts on the process or anything I missed?

As the speedo is mechanical I'd say you've dislodged something inside. Best bet is taKe it apart and use a drill to turn everything so you can see what's not moving??
