OEM Piston Rings

Hi All:

It took a tremendous amount of work, but I was able to convince the original OEM of piston rings, Riken, to make me a custom run of replacement rings for currently NLA parts for most Japanese motorcycles. I have currently been approved to make any sizes of Yamaha 1WG (FZR400), NL3 (Yamaha FZR250), and KAZ (Honda CBR250RR MC-22). I am waiting for some Kawasaki part numbers and, if any Suzuki parts might be of interest.

Here, in the V4 section, since the Honda rings are currently still available, this really only applies to Yamaha 56mm and 57mm rings for the Cosworth pistons I provide.

1): How many of you are out there that are hurting for rings? Even rings other than the Yamaha FZR400.

2): What are the most used sizes of rings; STD, +0.25, +0.50, +0.75, +1.00?

Looking forward to a response ASAP.

I take it they want quite high order numbers? I've been trying to get the nc30 f3 rings copied as they are NLA but not having much luck

Can they make rings for any motorcycle? I think many people would be interested in NS400R rings as they are nowhere to be found these days!
