Heh I considered blue, but I fancied the stock look to the casual observer while being confident I wouldnt be facing another ruptured hose.

The water pump to engine one went at about Mach 1 and I knew nothing about it until I had covered another 2 miles until I noticed the bike sounding a bit different

Patched up with a couple jubilee clips and some old inner tube.. Wooo! :D

lol yeh i like mine cos where you can see it through the fairing the fairing is the same shade of blue, looks really smart but i do like the understated'ness of the black

do they really make that much of a difference?
if so i might invest in a set- problem being that i do 20 miles through central London everyday and she doesnt like the traffic.
at all.
plus, the red ones would look lush....

i wouldn't have thought they would have made that much of a differance as the main benefit of them of standrad is they can take much higher pressures due to the way they are constructed ,but spike is probably seeing the benefit of changing his coolant and flushing his rads

Im sceptical of whether they have any cooling benefits apart from being able to withstand the higher pressures as Roy says but hey they might allow heat to pass thru em a little bit more than rubber ones.

My Colour scheme of Yellow and Black gets followed with the ones I got :D

Unless people are about to tell me that im killing my clutch this way, the way I find you can avoid overheating is learning to slip the clutch enough to make the bike pull away using less than 4000 revs. Short shift up into 6th and you can move around at 30mph at about 3k. The air will do the rest.

Theres a knack to it but this is how I manage it
