Can anyone of you explain me what is the number 10 item in the schematic used for? I don't have on my nc30 rear brake oem hose.

An adapter needed to connect the hose to the caliper.

fixed your post chief.
Magg has already been in with the correct answer.
If you are still using the OEM hose it's a screw on piece that allows the hose to screw directly into the caliper without an angled bracket.
It's still available new and looks like this,

Never noticed that before. What is its purpose? I'd have thought both caliper and hose end were M10x1.25, like all other Hondas?

I think its a semi flexible joint, the thread on the hose is fixed but this allows you to screw the hose to the caliper without twisting it all up as there is no banjo..
crap explanation but i think it makes sense...

That makes sense I have had a bike where the rear line has been replaced with a banjo bolt at both ends The section with the nut that screws into the caliper to
The adapter removed with a banjo bolt fitted directly into the caliper allowing use of a generic brake line .

A swivel, then? I'm changing the direction of the brake line on my RC30-swing-armed RC36 to go through the swing arm, so I'm using a 90-degree banjo and bolt anyway. With the OEM hose you need to do a big loop around the back of the hub.
Ciao,
