RVF Starting issue

Hi, having problems getting my bike to start. The other night when trying to start the bike it struggled really badly to start but managed to get it running. Ran for about a minute then cut out, started it again and rode it for about 5 minutes and it then cut out while riding. Coasted it to the side of the road and got a friend to help get it back. put the key in the ignition and the dash lights came on incredibly slowly and the headlights barely had any light.

Battery is goosed was my assumption, bought a new battery, had it all charged up and put it into the bike and exact same thing happened, IE nothing. When I press the starter button it doesn't click or turn over at all, complete silence.

Usual checks done, Fuel, Kill switch etc but those wouldn't cause symptons of a flat battery from what I can tell.

Starter solenoid (right hand side of bike under the tail) might be shot. I disassembled mine and got it sorted but they aren't generally a serviceable item. If its on its way out a lower battery voltage is not good. Try hitting the starter and testing voltage at the primary side of the solenoid too.
