Hi again, not very tech savvy, 3 wires come off alternator to block connector attached to reg/rec. my block connector was burnt up so I replaced it with individual connectors. Problem is I have bought a new RR but cannot tell the wires apart now. Yep dummy I know. They are all plain white in colour so does it matter which of the three alternator wires connects to which RR wire ?

Wires from alternator are usually yellow but maybe yours have faded to white. Does no matter which "white" wire goes to which rr input terminal. Do you know which rr terminal the red and green loom wires go to?
