Hay all

Ok so problem started today after a few about a km of riding.

If she is idleing in neutral all good when i compress cluch all good as soon as i select gear 1st or 2nd it dies out if its not in neutral it doesnt start again... but if i select neutral starts immediately.

Why doesnt she die when i select gear... thought it was just cluch setting but its not

Would check side stand switch. The light may be out but it also has to supply an earth signal to the ignition unit when the side stand is up otherwise the spark is stopped.

Magg that might be a problem see... my sidestand switch is broken but i must add its been broken for about 5 years now no issues but ill check it our quick thank you

What do mean by broken, just the light not working, that is only the stand-down function of the switch and not the stand-up part of switch.

No the piece that connects to the sidestand with the copper ring is physically broken in 2 and half is missing
