I have an opportunity here to get my hands on an Ohlins shock with remote reservoir but it is from a Honda CB600F (Hornet)
can anyone comment as to the overall length of the factory shock for the 1996 NC35?

I think its the same length as the NC30s so if you use the forum search box you should be able to find it lying in a forum post.
