Mot due soon so need new front discs after the tester noted that they are very close to the minimum thickness at the time of the last MOT. Looked around the internet and see that Wemoto do a pair of pattern discs for £200. Anyone tried these and are they any good?

Looked at that, EBC discs at a reasonable price but still quite expensive compared to the Wemoto offering.

Does the Arashi disc have a steel or aluminium centre? The Wemoto offering has a steel centre, adds about 0.8kg weight.

They have gold anodised alloy centres.

The reason I asked about the Wemoto discs us that I had the opportunity to by some spares from an ex VFR owner. Included in the now done deal where a pair of unused discs. Now fitted along with new (Armstrong) pads and fork seals, MOT passed, taxed for the next year. I would have bought from Rick Oliver if these had not been available.
