NC23 - Clutch problem

I noticed over the weekend that there was a slight chatter when I pulled the clutch in and it went when the clutch was released. Could this be bearings in the clutch basket?

Also, on the way to work this morning I noticed that the clutch was slipping at the higher end of revs and once warm it was idling at around 3,000 revs which is very unusual for my bike, usually around 1,200.

Could this all be linked or more than likely separate issues?

Thanks
Andy

Hi Andy , don't think their related but to start with have you done an oil change lately, have you adjusted clutch cable freeplay , also the same on the accelerator, maybe a little oil down the insides would help, could be clutch plates (little tangs catching in the recess).I`d start with the easiest first and work thro ;)

Yeah, I did an oil change about 6 weeks ago, but only been using the bike for about 6 weeks.

I will look at adjusting the clutch tonight when I get home and drop some oil down the cable.

Cheers
Andy

I used Putoline oil as provided by Graeme France.
