Petrol pipe quick splitters

Hi guys,
Whenever I disconnect the petrol tank, I'm concerned that I may not connect the petrol pipe properly, and have a fear of petrol leaking over a hot engine. I'm considering fitting the pipe to the tank with a jubilee clip, cutting the pipe in two and having a pipe splitter (is this what they are called?) to separate and rejoin the two pipes. My KTM had a similar setup. Has anyone else fitted a pipe splitter and where can I buy one from?
Thanks!

LOL. Now you make me feel a little bad for being snarky.

I've done this on my track bike, and it's well worth it.

The plastic ones sometimes fail (mine did). Metal ones are expensive...

Ciao,
