What's that valve for? i have the cap in my hand if u are wondering

For adding air pressure to the forks, was a feature that has been around for many years. Usefulness depends on who you ask and which bike it is fitted to.

Whatever you do (DON'T) go putting high pressures in there,
I thing they only run around 5 or 7 P.S.I.

if you have aftermarket fork seals they probably wont hold the air
