As stated in my other post, I've always wanted a vfr 400, the stylish look and v sound is immense
I test drove the one I'm after today and simply WOW!!
I love it
It was a stiff ride, but I ride a bandit 1200 usually and that's soft
Anyway, apparently it had a bmw 1200 rear shock and Rick Oliver front fork upgrade, is this normal?
I mean, is it a good upgrade from standard?

Yes. Those are good upgrades. There is a huge thread on here somewhere talking all about the BMW shock swap.

Ok thanks
He hasn't done anything to it, it's his first bike.
I'm happy with the handling so that's the trueness of the frame forks etc sorted
It will need a service and chain and sprockets
Relying on my bike selling before that one goes now
