• Good Places to ride Shifnal/Telford area

Hi guys,

Recently moved Shifnal and its getting to good riding weather so was thinking of venturing out.

Anyone got any suggestions on where to go? Would west of shrewsbury be a good idea?

Also anyone else in the area?

Originally from Doncaster so literally no idea where the good roads are

Or, head up onto the A515 and abuse the Peak District stuff

great roads very close to you.

If you want steady rides head towards Welshpool , four crosses, lake Vyrnwy etc great roads BUT you in Wales so watch the speed as Babylon every where.

If you simply want a local scratch then head Shrewsbury and take the back road B5062 from the bypass to Newport via Crudgington and then back to Shifnal, what a road!!! small , middle of no where FUN.
