I was wondering if anyone has fitted the tailpiece from the newer CB400 to the older NC31 model.

Would it fit or is it possible to make it fit? May be a bit of work involved and may require newer undertray. Has anyone tackled this before?

Yes,someone have try this! But he is version S FiiiV (1998)owner.This means he already have all the things that needs for the modification.Seat,tail,undertail metal hardwere.(version s FiiiV have different shape seat,tail and undertail hardwere from pb1 models).Anyway i dont like the undertail work that he have done,if you don't understand something you can ask me,take a look at the photos here:

I know in China, they offer conversion kits for PB1s/Spec1/Spec2 to Spec 3 tailboard. It can most definitely be done, however, I don't know the exact steps and works involved in making that happen.

This is easy stuff exhaust upgrade nd tail piece and underseat exhaust...dependig if you are installing nd doin yourself
