Chain adjustment

Simple question - is it better to adjust an NC35 chain with the rear wheel on the ground or up on the ol' Abba stand?

As long as you get 25mm slack it doesn't matter chap but guess its easier on the stand.

lift the rear wheel up to make it easy to move the adjuster but measure slack your weight when sittign on the bike
