I was looking into Rick O's jack up kit and being over 6ft I thought I could benefit from it, however, I know raising a bike can play havok with the handling of a motorcycle I'd like to know how it affected the bike?
If anyone has fitted a jack up kit to their NC30, your reviews etc and any photos are appreciated :)

Jacking up the rear of the NC's is a popular mod.
It improves the handling, putting the bike more on it's nose makes it much more flickable.
If you're concerned, speak to Rick O himself, he knows more about NC's than pretty much everyone

I thinking jacking up the rear was the best mod I have made to my bike, I actually found it quite slow steering before as I was riding a RS125 previously.
But on the downside it has led me down the path of further modification as due to the dynamics of the linkage it feels as if I have effectively increased the spring rate and now the rear is too stiff for my weight... So I plan to change to a height adjustable Nitron with standard linkage at some stage

Ricks jack up link is the same length as the rvf link, I'm running an 18 rear with an rvf link and I'm loving every minute of it, turning into corners allot harder and faster, and just generally much more flickable around bends

I went for longer nitron shock (+15mm) on stock NC30 linkage to cope with 17" rear swap

FYI -
Rick`s link is 8mm shorter than the stock NC30 one, the RVF link is 4mm shorter. The RO link is equivalent in terms of rear ride height to fitting a 10mm over stock length (i.e. 315mm) shock...
