They do look nice, don't they! 8-)

Doesn't look as though they do one specifically for the CB400 though, and the spring specifications for the CB1300 may not be the same. I wouldn't have thought it would be too hard to find out whether or not they're suitable though.

Ouch! They're not cheap though! Around £300 UK proces for a monoshock unit.

You know that the standard Showa units can be reconditioned though?

Where can they get reconditioned to? it would be good to know in advance as my springs are showing signs of corrosion

cheers

All Bike Engineering (ABE) say they can recondition the shock units, but springs is another matter. They'll need cleaning up and either painting or powdercoating, but the difficult bit is removing them first! When I spoke to ABE, they said they can arrange it; they send them away to a local firm to be powdercoated I think, but there was a long lead time (quite a bit longer than for the shock rebuild).

The phone number's on their website:

There's another firm advertising on ebay, but they might not do Showa (just Ohlins):

i've not got the standard showa shocks on-i have hagon ones.

the originals are totally rusted and too soft for me.
i'm thinking that if i want stiffer shocks than standard, having shocks off the cb13 would be ideal.
