Tyga exhaust install

I am installing my Full Tyga exhaust system on my VFR400, but am not using any silicone sealant around the joints, as the instructions suggest. Anyone with Tyga exhaust experience, does it leak? Should I use something to help seal the exhaust? Thanks.

Put mine on in September without silicon sealant, but used copaslip on the joins. Works perfectly.
Did you get instructions then??

Are the joins not designed to be an interference fit to allow for expansion/contraction hence the spring hooks at the pipe joins would think anything other than copaslip like silicon or worse still firegum might be problematic would stick with tyga instructions.

Yep, I just took the joins off and used some high temp silicone. Was really just wanting for an easier removal when needed. Started it and no leaks so happy days.

I just looked at the instructions on the Tyga website.

I looked up copaslip and I would have gone that route if I knew about the product. I recently moved to Germany, so I'll have to have a look for it here, or just order some in from the UK.
