Well the riding season is over for me, so for this year it's time for the nc29 to be taken apart and cleaned up again.
I've decided whilst I'm at it to do the valve clearances again whilst I've got the engine out and give the exhaust downpipes a touch up again with pj1 also.

Yes, although I use my bike most of the time once the weather gets snowy I tend to follow suite and do a cleaning of the hidden bits. Trouble is by then it's so damned cold and I don't have a garage it does tend to put you off. Although, now that I don't ride the 60 mile daily commute I'm even thinking of sorning the bike if it snows. Something I have never done in the time I have owned the bike.

No garage :o that takes me back quite a few years trying to get the carbs off my 1st bike under the bike cover with snow on the ground. Can't remember why I was trying to take them off only that it was bloody freezing so I will take my hat off to you.
Your still enjoying your bike after so long. Have you changed jobs or moved closer to your workplace?

Well I can get the bike under cover but there is no room to do anything, can't even squeeze between the bike and a wall. I tend to strip it outside and put what I can undercover unless I'm working on it.

Im still in the same job but now I just work at a closer location, 3 miles. So now it takes me longer to kit up and get the bike out than the travelling time to work. I do sometimes miss the 60 miler (as it was like a ride out) but in the bad weather I'm glad it's only three miles now.
