hi need help as i have just acquired a cb400 , frame number states nc31 , the wiring is awe-full but i am trying to sort it slowly , i bought a right hand switch-gear from e-bay only to find out the block connector has 8 pins an the 1 on the bike has 6 pins but has also had a circuit board added into wiring in the headlight

any clue what the circuit board is for , any other help would be appreciated

Photo's of problems would be helpful and the year of the bike.

I haven't much experience of superfours but the right hand switch gear could be different as some years had a hazard light switch and some years didn't.

The circuit board behind the clock could possibly be a derestrictor for the 180khm speed limiter.

the 1 i bought has no on/off switch for lights but the switchgear i bought has the on/off/hazard will take photo's as soon as i get a chance

Is your bike a '92 by any chance?
