Has anyone tried 3 piston brake calipars on a nc30? i saw a set on Jap4performance.co.uk and after riding a 2007 cbf500 (which had only 1 brake disk and weighted quarter a ton) i think my brakes are pretty bad.

I dont think you need 6 pot calipers.

From experience Id reccomend these options:

Total rebuild with new seals and good sintered pads or rick oliver sells a kit to bolt on Honda sp1 calipers. I could directly bolt on sp1 calipers to my RVF I think, but find on braided lines, new pads, fresh seals etc I have no problem with lifting the tail. So dont see the need in splashing out on fancier calipers when mine work well.

or if you have a bit more money, you could sort your suspension and braking out in one hit with a Riley special Ducati front end and brembo braking kit. Awesome

Yes I can but I cant remember what they are called, they are sold in my local bike dealer, who do mail order too, I want to order some myself so I will find out (I have already enquired about the best pads for them). Ill go in there tomorrow and get some details.

I have never heard of these cracking however that may be cheaper aftermarket organic pads maybe.

Honda. Perfect fit, Reasonably priced, wont brake up or crack, work decently wet or dry and won't eat the discs.

Sure you can get others that will work better under certain circumstances (eg only ever being thraped round a track) but for all round use the OEM Honda/Nissin pads are hard to beat.

It was SBK 5 series I was recommended over the Nissin OE when I asked for them. They are I think priced at £24.95 per caliper. The sales guy is my cousin and he runs them in his bikes, and seeing how he rides and the experience of pads etc he has tried, is good enough for me.
