Any one ever have a problem with front sprocket nut, if so will this fit,
Not really a problem!, just a concern, threads on nut seam iffy, shaft ok,

http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/yamaha/fzr_ ... t_kit_oem/

will need to order two! R6 too!, seems to be a yamaha problem, fazers, r6, fzrs,
To name a few.

Also, joining chain, new joining link seems to be made of something mega hard, hardened steel, dont want to fork out loads for a tool that i may only use once.
Bike shop is a no,no, for now, as its miles away!

Mot pressure, this sat, then its off the road, for the winter overhaul.

The tips of the soft link aren't very hard, you can peen them over with a hammer and use another hammer or block of steel behind as support on the other side of the chain. Don't go mad or you'll have a seized link.

It's better the sprocket nut gets worn than the shaft, it sounds like they're getting over tightened, maybe using a torque wrench is better than a windygun.

I used an Afam chain on the Bimota, they have hollow rivets and a chain riveting tool. The tool is about £25 and works very well.
