Hey All,
Just got the NC30 working again :D thanks to some elbow grease, good advice, Clean cards, new sparks, fresh fuel and a bump of a car battery.
Only one problem now the battery on the bike is dead, im over in holland and the cost of a new battery is 130 euros
. so does anyone know a good battery choice? at a good supplier in the UK for a good price?
Thanks
Dave.

I would make sure your reg/rec is not going to kill your new battery first of all. get a multimeter and run the bike at 5k revs - see what the output DC across the battery terminals is. looking for 14+ and no higher than 15.5 really
If it won't start - try and bump it and catch it! Sounds very much like you have charging probs if your new battery is already dead.
Also - PM Marb on here - he is in Holland and might know a cheap battery place??

get the battery charged up fully then try what cmsmj1 says, also check what voltage the battery is at the now.....it may still be in good condition.just too drained for starting the bike.
volts @5000rpm should be between 13.5-15.5volts
this will give you a better idea to what is wrong.

Also, if still using the standard YTX7A-BS batt, consider changing to a more common batt like the YTX9-BS - lots of bikes use this batt, like CBR's & GSXR's etc, so it may be cheaper - it's slightly taller (106mm I think) but fits fine and has 8Ah instead of the standard 6! :)
