Hello right really baffled, bikes running absolutely mint starting first time idles great no problems or issues, charging fine ect but a couple of times this morning on the way the bike cut out now it's not electrical but engine just stopped almost as if you hit the kill switch wondering if anyone's had his issue and if so what it may be, as I said bikes running absolutely spot on carbs good engines good charging and electrical system good only happens when idling

Lights stay on dash stays on ect bike runs spot on as I said just doesn't seem electrical or mechanical, vacuum hose as in the one off the fuel tap? I'll look into replacing it

think that's the hose - runs around RHS of engine under the tank area - one time mine was routed too close to the engine and would cut the bike out when it got hot

Which model, and how does it cut out? Does it splutter and stop, or does it literally stop like you switched off (ie no coughing but running to dead stop?). My NC35 did this a few times, including turning into a bucking bronco if you used lots of revs. Turned out that there was something iffy with the sidestand switch. I don't know if the connector was just a bit crusty, or something inside the switch was faulty, but replacing it fixed the issue. if it was the vacuum hose, I'd expect the bike to act like it was running out of fuel (because it would be) rather than just cut out.

It's literally just cutting out seems electrical but rarely happens and only when static, going to do the vac hose anyway that is he one that plugs into the bottom of the fuel tap? And will check my side stand switch
