Ok, I know there was a thread about this topic somewhere, but I can't find it.

So, anyone have any idea which temp plugs are best for a race/track bike that runs at altitude (1500 m ASL) and in hot climate (30-40 deg C)?

Er8
Er9 or
Er10?

Or you can also use ngk r847-10, but very expensive. And I don't know if they were better.

tbh I still wonder why these were mentioned in the nc35 hrc set-up manual (ngk r847-10 or -11)...?

there were a load of the r847 plugs cheap i should have bought last year, 20 plugs at (2 pounds each..) single plug sells for more than that... ah well no use to me.

they dont have an electrode arm, just a centre electrode. i think youd need a full kit bike to use those anyway as they foul up easy if not run upto temp

I've collected loads of new er9eh's for cheap, most of them I discovered in small boxes stuffed away in an old shed not long ago, made a silly nid and suprisingly I bought it for couple of € each  but also Iridium ones and found a few r847's for a couple of beers extra.
