Just done a track day with 1988 cbr 400 rr nc23,runs a bit hot wondering if its ok to remove the water thermostat as its a race bike.Hoping this would aid the cooling but not sure if it may be a mistake.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

yes,should be ok to remove,it only aids in warming up the engine so should run cooler when its out..
