Short question, can you fit NC29 cams to a NC23?

I know the engines share some parts, just not sure if this is one of them. This question has nothing to do with what is currently listed on eBay...

Any ideas, anyone?

Short answer is no they are not a direct swap as the cam gears are different sizes (23's have more teeth than the 29 if I remember correctly)

But they can be made to fit with a bit of work depending on what it is your trying to acheive? Drop me a PM if you don't want to discuss it on here....

Basically there was a set of NC29 Kent Cams for a not unreasonable price on eBay. If they were a direct fit then I would have bought them. But by the sounds of it if the gears are a different size its not going to be something a home mechanic could swap over so would negate the benefit of buying them.
