Hey chaps,

I was wondering if someone could point in the correct direction.
I recently bought a nc29 from 91 and it's all there running lovely, however the air tubes
That come off the fairing holding the panels together are missing?

Any help would be much appreciated

Tom.

Hi Tom, the air tubes can still be bought, at a price. They are around £100 each at David Silver Spares. Check out eBay as they sometimes come up. Be aware that the tubes have an inner part ( a different part number) that helps fit these to the front inner panels. It all interlocks for a better fit so expect a small amount of movement if any parts are missing. Finally, it seems debatable if these are actually doing anything apart from styling so don't expect any enhancements although someone put forward a theory that they lower the air pressure behind the carbs to help remove the hot dead air in that area, I dunno?

Check out the parts diagrams here: http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-cbr400rr_model17061/
