Is NC24 Carb Overhaul Same as NC30??

Ok. Potted history. Bought the basket case NC24 last summer. The lad that I got it from rigged it up to run. Engine was sweet. No smoke, no rattles and knocks.

Then got delivered as rolling chassis with to boxes of bits.

Just put service kit on the fuel tap as the vacuum diaphram was damaged. Put fuel in the tank and and it won't start but I also have some fuel flowing out of at least one carb! Probably a stuck float on one carb??

So I may have to go in to reverse and service the carbs. I note there is a very comprehensive NC30 strip down.

Is it the same process for an NC24?

I have a spark at both the rear two plugs, so I'm thinking it's a fueling issue.

Have removed air box and trumpets and will rig up temporary fuel supply to trace the leak/spillage. But in the event that it is a carb flooding, I may have to follow some instructions....

The same in terms that there a V4 arrangement but settings and jet sizes will have no relevance

off hand the float heights are 6.8mm (i think its same as nc30)

jets are 115 all around, or 112/115 (front / rear) if oyu have early nc24.

dont drill the sliders.

the emulsion tubes have 4 and 5 holes, 4 goes in the front, 5 in the rear.

i think thats about it

Thanks for responses. Stuck float now not stuck. Petrol in float chambers obviously lubricated whatever needed lubricating.
Managed to get it started yesterday. Choke not operating fully due to cable end slipping through clamp. Discovered split diaphram in the carbs for rear nearside cylinder (slider wasn't lifting under revs). Will contact NRP for replacements.

Thanks again will keep info provided on file for future reference.
