Is it possible to use a lithium lightweight battery for everyday riding being charged by the standard charging system, or will they not charge properly?

Hi i have an 8cell on the stock charging system and it charges no problem like a standard battery. Weighs less than half the weight. I do have an R6 rectifier on my NC29.

Juicy, do you have lights turned on all the time, what's your riding style, commuter, weekender etc?

I remember reading when they first came out they were not advisable for winter commuting. They could well be better now, no idea.
